Smells smoky, but the sound is nice and it is in tune. I think the odor will dissipate, so I am happy overall.

High quality ocarina, lovely sound, easy to grab and it even has a pleasant smell. I also want to thank the customer service which was very friendly and helpful. I still need to practice to get used to this special fingering system.

I ordered the lacquered version, and the dark red coloring is beautiful. I love the soft, textured sound it produces. Ordered from the USA, it took just a couple of weeks to arrive. I highly recommend!

This is my first triple chamber ocarina and it’s such great quality in every way! Even though it’s plastic it has a good weight to it, it’s beautiful, and it sounds awesome! I have several Alto C ocarinas and this Zilei is the best one. Not only that it looks and feels like a really professional instrument, but its sound is incredible.
